I don’t think you can talk to anyone and say they are in the same place that they were in two years ago, and I’m no different. I have been through tons of life changes including buying my first home, starting a new relationship, accepting a promotion at work and having to balance a new work life balance, and just living life. I started this blog to document all of the changes I made in my first big girl house, but now that I am in a new home that I own, I have found it extremely hard to prioritize documenting all of the changes I have made. However, I’ve realized these are the most important things for me to be documenting and I don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to share these projects and have them documented for me to look back on. So here I am making an effort to start sharing more, and I hope that you will join me on this journey!! You may notice things start to look a little different around here as I give my website a much needed facelift, but I’ll be back with more posts and I have a lot to catch y’all up on!!
Before and After: Lance’s Masculine Man Cave Office
I can’t be the only one that cringes at the term “man cave.” I typically picture a room that the store Sports Fanatics threw up in. So when I decided to turn one of my spare bedrooms into an office for my boyfriend, Lance, I made it my mission to make it a masculine man cave vibe without being tacky.

Valentine’s day is one of those holidays that people either love or hate. I personally love it because everything is pink, and its just another reason to celebrate! This is the second year I decided to treat my friends to a fun Galentine’s Brunch! I know its a bit early, but when your schedules are as crazy as my friend’s and I’s, January will have to do! I value my female friendships a lot and even though most of my friends are married, engaged, or in serious relationships, I still want to make sure we take the time to be with each other prioritize girl time! It was a blast and here is how you can do it for you and your friends:

If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I have been stuck at home sick with COVID the last few days. My symptoms have been fairly mild and I’ve felt pretty good compared to how a lot of people fare, so I am grateful for that! However, this time alone in my house has given me lots of opportunity to think about things I like, dislike, and want to change in my home. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my house and cannot imagine living anywhere else, but I did do my renovations very quickly upon buying it and did not give myself time to “live with my space” before jumping into major renovations. Here are the 6 things I regret doing (or not doing) during my renovation journey:

Happy New Year! Can I even say that anymore seeing as it’s already January 12th? Well anyways, I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I personally had a crazy one. I hosted an amazing dinner party for my friends, had our annual fondue Christmas Eve at my house, and then moved my roommate/best friend to her new house shortly after New Year’s. Even though we’re less than 2 weeks into the year, I can already tell that 2022 is going to be a year of change for me, and as hard as it is to accept that, I know it will be good! I have big plans for my house this year, and I may be getting a little too ambitious, but if I write it here, I’m more likely to work to accomplish everything.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I’ve made some big changes around my house that I want to share! The biggest being moving into my gym shed! I realized I haven’t really shared much on the blog about the gym shed (but I do have an Instagram highlight about it), so I figured I’d catch y’all up on all that we’ve done to it.
