Welcome to my blog! My name is Clare, and I am a 24 year old living in Raleigh, NC. I’ve started this blog to be a creative outlet for me to express myself outside of my boring 8-5 finance job. Here are a few fun facts about me:
- I love home decor, fashion, travel, food and fitness.
- I am an avid crafter! I have 4 different types of sewing machines and more fabric than the average 80 year old woman.
- I am a dog mom to two adorable (and sometimes frustrating) pups. Corona is a 4 year old black lab and Pete is a 1 year old pitbull mix. They are my favorite creatures on Earth, and I would do anything for them.
- I am an ACE Certified personal trainer, and workout regularly. I do not currently do any personal training, but it is something I’d like to get back into.
- I spent my childhood in Texas (hence the blog name, Bluebonnets are the state flower of Texas), but I have lived in North Carolina since 2007.
- I have an amazing boyfriend named Clark who is the most supportive partner I could ask for.
- I graduated from the University of North Carolina- Wilmington (go Seahawks!) with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Development. My dream is to one day open my own home decor and gift shop!
- My mom is my style inspiration, and you will probably see a lot of her and her house on the blog.
