The Shiplap Chronicles: What Not to Do

Happy Cyber Monday! This past weekend my dad was in town and helped me put shiplap up on my main floor mantle. Clark and I shiplapped my basement mantle a few months ago (see that post here), and it was super easy. However, my main floor was a little more difficult because I have molding and can’t frame out the shiplap the same way we did in the basement. My dad is a little more experienced in the carpentry department, so he was able to cut the wood at an angle to fit perfectly across the whole wall above the mantle! Charleston House Part 3: Furniture

Hi Everyone! A few weekends ago I went to Charleston for a quick trip and was able to see the progress of my mom’s home there. She has done an amazing job with all of the renovations, and the house finally has furniture!
