Hi y’all! I had the opportunity to attend the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation’s annual Wish Ball last night. This was my second year attending and it is always great to see so much money raised for such a good cause. My mom serves on the board and my brother was a wish recipient back in 2011.

Hi y’all! I’ve been asked a few times how I manage to have a white couch and a black dog. Let me tell ya, it is NOT easy nor fun. My two biggest tips are SLIPCOVERS! and vacuuming often! My couch and chairs are from Pottery Barn, and have removable machine washable slipcovers. I try to wash them once a month. However, I need to keep the fur at bay in between washes. I decided to test out a bunch of gadgets from Amazon and give y’all my opinions on what is worth it and what you should save your money on.

My master bedroom has gone through many looks over the last 2 years, but I finally think I have it to a place where I like it! I stuck with neutral decor, but went lighter than my previous bedding to brighten up the room. It is definitely a risk with a black lab, but I’ll share all my dog hair removal tips in a future post.
