My basement has evolved quite a bit in the last two years, but has always been the home to my craft items. I recently decided to get a treadmill, and in order to make it fit, I had to downsize my craft area a bit. I decided to sell my two IKEA desks and replace them with the same desk I have on the other side of my basement with my desktop computer on it.

Hi y’all! The Nordstrom sale is now 2 days in and it seems like everything is already selling out! I decided to search the internet for similar products to the “most popular” items from the Nordstrom sale. I don’t know if these are actually the most popular items, but these are the items I’ve seen the most on every fashion blogger’s Instagram over the last few days. I’ve seen a lot of other bloggers do similar posts, but they focused on Amazon items. I wanted to actually find some good quality products for a lower price. Keep in mind that the prices I am referencing for the Nordstrom sale are the SALE price; the prices will go up a lot on these products when the sale ends on August 5th.

Hi y’all! If you have an Instagram and follow any blogger, you are probably tired of hearing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that started this week. I do think it is a great sale on items that you can rarely find on sale, which is great if you’re balling on a budget like me. I don’t believe you should go in debt over a sale because saving $20 on a sweater is not worth that interest payment! I only purchased 3 items from the sale (so far), but I wanted to share all of my favorites since there were some great finds!

Hi y’all! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend. I spent the weekend in Charleston, SC with my mom, brother, and best friend. It was so fun, but so hot and humid! I wanted to share what I wore, while I was there, but be prepared because I look like a drowned dog in some of these pictures! Hi y’all! I had the opportunity to attend the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation’s annual Wish Ball last night. This was my second year attending and it is always great to see so much money raised for such a good cause. My mom serves on the board and my brother was a wish recipient back in 2011.
