It is no secret that I love my bar cart, but I have always struggled to style it when there isn’t a specific holiday or season to base it around. When I moved into this house, I knew I wanted to make an effort to decorate it in a way that would be appropriate no matter what the season was.
I decided I needed to make the bar cart practical, but I didn’t want it to look cluttered. I also knew I wanted a neon sign in my house, and I found an Etsy shop that made this custom “Bottoms Up” one for me. I AM OBSESSED WITH IT! I received a copper cocktail shaker from my friends Lauren and Courtney for my birthday, so that was a jumping off point for the rest of the decor.
I removed all of the liquor bottles I used to keep on the bottom shelf, and replaced them with a copper ice bucket. I also chose not to use the built in wine glass rack, as it only held 8 and I had 12 (well currently 11 thanks to Corona’s tail) wine glasses to display. I kept my 3 most used liquors on display on the top of the bar cart. I added some high ball glasses, a cute print, and some books to finish off the styling. I love how it turned out, and I don’t feel the need to change it every week now!
