Charleston Outfit Roundup -New Years Weekend

January 4, 2019

I spent the past weekend in Charleston for New Year’s and had a blast! We got there on Sunday and left Tuesday morning. The weather was amazing, and so was the food! I am always looking for outfits that are casual and easy to walk in but still cute, so I thought I would share what I wore with y’all! Everything is linked at the bottom of the post!

Sunday, I wore a black and white flannel from Pink Magnolia Boutique with black skinny jeans, and white Converse sneakers. So comfy and easy to walk in!

Sunday night, Clark and I went out to dinner at 5 Church, and I changed into a pink sweater I bought that day at E. Blackhurst on King Street. I wore the same black jeans, but wore black booties instead of sneakers.

Monday, I wore this adorable twist top knit top with destructed skinny jeans an brown booties. We did a lot of our walking early in the morning in workout clothes, so I wasn’t as concerned about my shoe choice during the day.

Monday night was New Year’s Eve, so we had dinner reservations and tickets to a party at Bay Street Biergarten (so fun!!). I wanted to be comfortable since we would be walking to and from the party, so I wore leather leggings, a black silk top, fur vest, and black heeled booties!

Welcome to Bluebonnet Porch! I’m Clare, a 30 year old newlywed living in Raleigh, NC with her husband and two dogs! I bought my (well, now I guess it’s our’s) house in 2020 when I was a single 25 year old and have spent the last 4 years renovating it and making it my dream house! It is a 100ish year old craftsman bungalow in Downton Raleigh, North Carolina, and I pinch myself every day that I get to live here.

I love all things home decor, DIY, food, entertaining, reading, and working out, and I can’t wait to share more about my life with y’all!
