Summer is finally winding down, which also means trips, weddings, and constant activities are slowing too. I figured I’d catch you up on everything I’ve been doing this summer!
I took 2 trips to Philadelphia this summer. The first for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour (one of the most incredible shows I’ve ever seen) and the second for a friend’s wedding in August!
In June, I took a trip to Charleston for a sweet friend’s bachelorette party, but also I picked out my wedding dress on this trip! I actually decided on the 3rd dress I tried on, which was surprising because I had not intentions of actually finding a dress on this trip! When I got back to Raleigh, I had a staycation with my best friend for her birthday (a few months late), but it was great to get some quality time with her!
July was another month of trips! We took a quick trip to Charlotte for the Luke Combs concert. The next weekend we went to Texas for my cousin’s wedding. This was Lance’s first time in Texas, and it was so fun to spend a few days in Austin to show him around with my dad. Lance is a huge Texas Longhorn fan, so he was loving seeing campus in person!
Along with Philly, we took a trip to Richmond to visit Lance’s family and a trip to Pinehurst for me to pay my first real round of golf at Forest Creek Country Club. To say I was spoiled by that experience was an understatement.
We have 1 more wedding in Annapolis this month then just 2 more trips, so I am looking forward to relaxing at home a bit and getting some projects done and sharing them with y’all!!
