Happy Thanksgiving week, everyone! If you haven’t already started Christmas shopping, it’s probably about time to start. I love that I am now at the age that my friends are all buying houses and I can buy gifts for their homes, which for me, is much easier than buying any other type of gifts. I thought I’d share some of my favorite home products that would make great gifts for anyone!
- Decorative Letter Board
I think these are the cutest way to add a personal touch to any part of a room. This one from Target is simple and affordable (under $15), but you can find all different colors, sizes, and shapes at tons of major retailers. - Faux Fur Throw Blanket
My mom has tons of these blankets and they are the softest, comfiest blankets I have ever felt! The color selection is neutral, so you can easily match it to anyone’s decor. Pottery Barn has these blankets for $90-$174, but they are constantly having sales this time of year! I’ve also found great faux fur throws at Target and Home Goods for a more affordable price! - Bar Cart
A bar cart is a great splurge gift for a new home owner or anyone who likes to entertain! The one the one linked is the bar cart I currently have (see my post about it here). It’s great for homes with an industrial or farmhouse style. However, you can find tons of amazing bar carts online in the same $115 price range. I also love this gold one from Wayfair; it would be great for a girlier or modern home! - Personalized Wine Rack
For the wino or newlywed in your life, this personalized wine rack is adorable! It offers storage for 6 bottles and 4 wine glasses and is less than $40! However, due to its customization, you better order quick to ensure you get it in time for Christmas. - “Gather” Serving Tray
Any aspiring hostess can never have enough serving trays. I love this $45 wood and marble tray from Nordstrom. It would be great as a cheese board or serving drinks at a party! - Personalized Knife Rack
This is another personalized option that would be great for a cook or small space. This knife rack can free up counter space in a small kitchen, but is also extremely convenient for cooking. My dad has a similar style knife rack and loves it! - Amazon Echo
My boyfriend gave me an Amazon Echo last year for Christmas, and it has been one of the best, most useful gifts I have ever received! He also got me wifi lightbulbs and smart plugs that I now can’t imagine living without! Unless you are shopping for someone who is scared of Big Brother taking over, I think the Amazon Echo/Smart Home setup is a great gift idea! - S’mores Maker
This is an item that I don’t have nor do I know anyone with it, but I thought it was so cool! I love s’mores, but am extremely scared of open fires and my house burning down (Fun Fact: I won fire safety week every year in elementary school), so I thought this little gadget was a great concept. I don’t have anyone in mind for this gift this year, but at only $35 it will definitely be a contender for Secret Santa or White Elephant parties. - Air Fryer
I bought this air fryer when I moved into my house last year, and I love it! It is perfect for making 1-2 servings of food, and allows a lot of creativity in cooking. My boyfriend cooked some yummy made from scratch chicken nuggets in it a few weeks ago, and they were great! It comes in a variety of colors and is under $50. It is a smaller air fryer, which works perfectly in my small townhouse kitchen. - Coffee Table Books
Buying decor for other people can be tricky, so coffee table books are a great alternative. They are extremely simple to style and you can buy ones based on the interests of the person you are shopping for. My favorite coffee table book right now is Home Body by Joanna Gaines, so I would recommend that to any fixer upper fan! - Essential Oil Diffuser
This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but essential oils have blown up recently. I use this diffuser every night and during the day to calm the dogs down (don’t worry, I researched dog safe blends). I chose this specific one because it hooks up to my Amazon Echo, so I can control it remotely. There are lots of options of diffusers that can fit in with different decor styles also! - Essential Oil Set
This goes hand in hand with the diffuser, but this has been the best set of oils I’ve found. It comes with all of the essentials and is only $20. It would be perfect to pair with a diffuser for a newbie to the essential oil world!
I hope some of these suggestions help with your upcoming Christmas shopping! I’ll be posting a few more gift guides coming up, so keep an eye out for those!
