Hi Everyone!! I hope you’re all excited for Halloween. I don’t have any Halloween plans other than handing out candy to trick-or-treaters, but I still wanted to style my bar cart for the holiday. I should have done this a month ago, but better late than never, am I right? I figured I’d share my bar cart styling with y’all and also my favorite sangria recipe in case you were looking for an easy cocktail to make for the holiday.
I hate fruit (I know I’m weird), but I do enjoy a super fruity sangria. I like to add all the fruit flavors and make it pretty sweet! The best part about sangria is you can swap out any ingredient for a different flavor and it will still work. This just happens to be my favorite combination!
Ingredients:
2 large oranges (and any other fruit you’d like to add)
1 cup pineapple brandy
1 bottle of mixed red wine (or whatever red wine you prefer)
1 cup triple sec (orange liqueur)
2 packets of stevia sweetener
1 cup of water
24 ounces of sparking cranberry juice
- Cut your oranges in slices and other fruits into small pieces and place them in the bottom of your container
- Pour brandy over the fruit and allow it to sit in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour
- Combine wine, water, Triple Sec, and stevia and stir
- Let combination sit in fridge until 15 minutes before you plan to serve it
- Add sparkling cranberry juice right before serving the sangria
I’m also loving my bar cart! You can thank Home Goods and the dollar spot at Target for this set up!
