2019 Home Plans

Hi y’all!! I hope everyone has had a good 2019 so far! I was back at work today and I’m getting back into my routine, but I’m struggling hard core!

In 2018, I made a ton of updates to my home including new flooring, re-decorating my guest room, and swapping out some old furniture pieces. I wanted to share some of my home improvement and decor plans I have for 2019. I am not sure what all I will actually accomplish, but I like to make plans and get as many things checked off as possible!

Gallery Wall in My Living Room

I have had a painting above my couch since I moved in, but I’ve also felt it was too small for the wall. I was flipping through some design books and magazines and was drawn to all of the gallery walls I saw! I actually just received the frames I plan to use, but I still need to find prints and then I’ll be able to complete this project. I am so excited to see how it turns out and share it with y’all!

Finish Re-decorating my Basement

This has been a project I’ve been working on for the better part of the last year. When I moved in my basement was all hand-me-down and cheap furniture. I slowly traded out my old dingy furniture for new pieces and now I’m working on accessorizing the space!

Put up Wallpaper and Install a New Vanity in my Powder Room

This is something I have envisioned since I moved in! My powder room is very bland. It has the standard pedestal sink and white walls. I’m on the hunt for a fun geometric wallpaper and a small narrow vanity with a cabinet, but I’m also working on a budget so stay tuned for how this turns out!

Re-decorate Bathrooms

My bathrooms need some updating to better match the rooms they’re in. I’ve changed the decor in my bedroom as well as my basement since moving in, but the bathrooms have stayed the same.

Install a New Backsplash in my Kitchen

This is a “reach” project. I don’t even know what kind of backsplash I would put up, but I know I dislike the one I have.

Decorate my Patio

I have a great patio off of my kitchen, but I don’t utilize nearly as much as I should! Clark uses it all the time when he comes over to gril, but I want to make it an oasis to enjoy the amazing spring and summer we get here in North Carolina!

Organize my Craft Room

My craft room (AKA the corner of my basement) is a mess! I have 4 different types of sewing machines along with tons of other craft appliances that need to have homes.
