It is finally the beginning of the best time of year, THE HOLIDAYS! I chose to group everything from the first day of Fall to New Years as “the Holidays”. I was hoping to get this blog post up last weekend, but the large rotating storm in the Atlantic had other plans. Better late than never, and it seems fitting that this is going up in the week that fall officially begins.
I am really excited to share all of my fall decor with y’all! I moved into my house last August, so this is my second holiday season in this house. I am still buying fall decor, so I don’t go as all out as I’d like, but hopefully one day I’ll get there. I’ll make sure to linkas many of the fall items as I can, but feel free to comment if you have a question about where anything else is from! Also, let me know in the comments what your favorite season or holiday to decorate for is?!
I couldn’t pass up this adorable Welcome sign from JoAnn’s! I want to get some mums and pumpkins to add to the porch as well, so I’ll make sure to update y’all when the porch is officially done!
The cabinet in my dining room didn’t get much of a fall update, but I switched out the candles on my candlesticks with these cute suede pumpkins from Target’s Dollar Spot! I love this space because it is so easy to transition from season to season. I think I’ll add some Halloween flair to my lantern from the Hearth and Hand by Magnolia collection at Target.
I found this basket at Kirkland’s and fell in love, but didn’t know what I wanted to do with it. I decided to fill it with more of the fabric pumpkins from the Dollar Spot, but I am not in love. Let me know if you have any suggestions for how to style this bowl!
This post is not sponsored by Target’s Dollar Spot, but it should be. This white tray was only $5! I placed it in the corner of my kitchen counter and styled it with a cream ceramic jug from Home Goods with some faux flowers. I also added a white and gold pumpkin from Michael’s that I got last year (here’s a similar one) and a gold pumpkin from a set I got from JoAnn’s. The smaller pumpkin was too short to be seen over the edge of the tray so I made it taller by putting my Christmas coasters underneath!
I wanted to keep my living room simple and didn’t want to buy too much decor this year, but I love how it turned out. I found these two ceramic pumpkins in the, you guessed it, TARGET DOLLAR SPOT. They add just a little fall feel to the tray I keep on my coffee table, but they are small enough to stay out of the way.
I was excited to decorate this corner shelf (similar one here) in my living room because you can do so much with it! I replaced ceramic balls I had in the hurricane jar on the third shelf with some gold and white pumpkins I found at Hobby Lobby. I also placed a white pumpkin from Michael’s on the bottom shelf with some books. I really wish I had found the inspiration, time, and funds to decorate my mantle, but that’s now the goal for next year!
My mom got me this adorable pillow from Kirkland’s and it matched my room perfectly. I normally don’t decorate my bedroom for seasons and holidays, but this was just too perfect!
And finally, the basement… Which got almost 0 fall decor, but I did find this pink glass pumpkin at Home Goods so it now lives on the mantle.
P.S. Check out my previous blog post about how I did the shiplap wall above my fireplace!
I hope you enjoyed my fall decor! I will also share what I change up and add next month in preparation for Halloween!
